FutureQuest: One word or Two?

This has come up quite often, as people are just not sure...

FutureQuest has always been one word...

We use derivitives from time to time like, FQuest and FQ, to ease the carpals...

Now you know the answer to this puzzling question...

Perhaps this is the place to ask...

Excuse the ignorance, but I seem a bit confused as to who Terra & Andrew are... Perhaps it's a dumb question. It seems that half the postings here with the author as ccTech are from Terra, while the other half of them from ccTech are from Andrew. Am I missing something, or is Terra just an alias of sorts for Andrew? Or what? It's Deb & Andrew, right? So who is Terra? I'm sorry, I'm just kinda confused...

Aaron

ROFL!

I used to think they were three different people! I thought Terra was some chick that worked tech support.. giggle

I just figured CCTECH was a handle for an administrator, depending on the time of day, it was whomever posted.. i just thought it was a general handle from tech support!

I guess depending on his mood, he picks one of the three handles.. cctech=quite technical.. terra=kinda the silly one.. and Andrew, the business man!

anyways.. they are all one and the same!

Well to be honest, I did too for the first couple days here at FQ! lol

Maybe CCTECH/Terra/Andrew could shed some light on the names and why he chose them? I know this is by no means vital or important but I know I am curious and probably so are the rest of us!

Andrew is Deb's husband and CCTech and Terra are two clones she bought to help him get more done.

That about sums it up

--

ccTECH - Was a trade handle for Andrew while he was doing system security work (a hacker paid for what he did)

TeRRaTECH - Was the on-line nic that Andrew used to wonder around places like IRC. It's always wise to use a nick name rather then a real name when on-line unless you have reason to do other wise.

Andrew -- Is his name

When I met Andrew my nick was ^Six^ and his was TeRRaTECH. He knew me as Six for a couple of years before knowing me as Deb, and I knew him as TeRRa for the same amount of time. It wasn't until we began to realize we wanted more then IRC from each other that the real names were a concern. As such, even around the house it is common for us to use the other's nick when addressing each other.

I have since begun to use "Deb" more and more as the 'playing on IRC' days ended but for Terra it just sticks

As such -- He tends to register with things such as message forums as ccTECH, chit chat as Terra, but when it's business... he will use his real name of Andrew.

And now you know enough to be dangerous
