Email Hosts

Over on the main thread someone mentioned both POBox and Fastmail.

I have found both to be awesome.

I've been using POBox since the late 90s and Fastmail since 2017.

They serve different niches, with fastmail handling more corporate stuff.

Fastmail:

fastmail.com
Here's my referral link (if you're so inclined): https://ref.fm/u17199232

FWIW, fastmail integrates perfectly with gnome online accounts (Linux Mint and Evolution)

POBOX

And again, my referral link: https://www.pobox.com/?referrer=75036620

Re: Email Hosts

I just set up my Fastmail. I'm in the trial period but it looks like it will work fine.

Re: Email Hosts

I looked at Fastmail, but for the two domains I want email ONLY for, I thought it was pret' spendy vs an inexpensive webhost where I can have one domain in a subaccount under the main one. Fastmail said they offer something similar but I'm not sure yet which account level has that.

Yup. At the time I signed up they were the only ones who did what I needed at a manageable cost. If you don't need retention (from a legal sense) then the standard plan ($5) is all you need there. But that's $5 per user (not per domain).

Again, depending on number of users, 2 pobox accounts will run you $90 for the year

About the same as A2 (https://www.a2hosting.com/web-hosting/compare/)
