what is your own shortlist?

spent friday/saturday doing research and I've come down to a choice of either pair.com or a2hosting. I have high-traffic MQS package here at FQ so I'm trying to replicate that level of traffic/space.

Re: what is your own shortlist?

I'm using A2 - they are great and have a free migration service. Our client's site was moved on Saturday with no issues at all. Email can be migrated, although it's a bit tricky without the use of a cPanel, which FQ didn't provide. Anyway, my vote's in for A2 Hosting.

Re: what is your own shortlist?

I'd vote for pair.com based on my experience with email interactions...all of my emails to them have been answered in a matter of minutes. Meanwhile, I never got a response to my second email to A2 Hosting sales sent over a week ago (and Superb Internet never even answered my first...) Also, Terra's comments about a "cookie cutter" control panel don't apply to pair.com. Their account control center appears to be custom-designed and has a solid, old-school feel that I like.
