Thunderbird

I get the same error as Wrightwood whether I try pop.abc.xyz or mail.abc.xyz. Also using Thunderbird.

Security and Authentication
Connection security: SSL/TLS
Authentication: Normal password
User Name: sender

Cannot send mail. Have tried several times today, all failed.
I use Apple Mail

The message I get with Apple Mail -
"Message cannot be sent using server ... "
"Internal error"

Also tried using Sea Monkey to send a message - it also failed.
Message: "Login failed."

Failed also with Spark email app; the error:
"Error A stable connection to the server could not be established."

Same as all above. I use Mac OS and IOS with the mail.questmail.net server (because of the security name mismatch workaround for Mac hardware).

IOS says "Cannot Send Mail, the user name or password is incorrect"

I use Outlook and it just keeps bringing up the username/password box, it never really errors out.

We had the same error as other Thunderbird users. Our phone email wanted us to put in our password, that did no good.

We appear to be up now at 7:49am EDT

Emails past and email send from my FQ server seem to be restored after 10AM EST.
Am able to send an email from FQ server and get immediate result on non-FQ recipient. Good to get this resolved but I'll wait 24 hrs to confirm stable result.
