Re: Network Outage

Still no good news at this point. The email servers that are up are still heavily overloaded and have very large mail queues.

Re: Network Outage

Thanks Ryan,

Hopefully those queues are reducing in size instead of accumulating.

We're still not seeing any of our mailboxes or aliases in the CNC. Are these going to come back or are we going to have to recreate them?

Re: Network Outage

You shouldn't need to recreate anything. The email manager of the CNC will throw errors as long as there are issues/overloads with the email servers.

They should display properly once those are handled.

Re: Network Outage

Still cannot send emails as of Saturday 9:30 AM, October 1 . (SMTP error 451 from Questmail)
Loading of emails has improved but they come in random batches from Friday still.

Re: Network Outage

Nearly 19:00 EST. Still no email out and sporadic email in. ANY update on the email situation would be most helpful at this point.

Re: Network Outage

As of the moment, Terra is currently working on LZFS rebuilding for PT01 so that is out of the rotation at the moment (which is why it shows as down on the network status page).

He is also still investigating the sending issues that people are running into. I will pass along any further info once I hear anything else.

**For anyone who has issues sending, what is the exact error you are getting and is it both in QuestMail and whichever email program you are using?
Most reports/emails say:
SMTP Error (451): Authentication failed.
