Email delays

For many weeks now I have had emails that are very delayed, and not consistently (or reproducible). I do not think it is just me since they do not show in the Questmail.

I receive most emails almost immediately but often, today many, many times, I get delays ranging usually 15 minutes, and sometimes even hours (this evening).
It is odd and very inconsistent- I often send a test email...nothing...another ...arives immediately, #3,4 all ok, and number 1 arrives 15 minutes later.... (sometimes out of order)

I sent in a ticket but it seems to be getting much more noticeable- I wonder if the email servers should be 'restarted' or examined for anything causing such delays?
Or perhaps it is just me...
