outgoing e-mail down (4.3.0 Problem with queue/pid)

All, anyone else seeing what looks like a permissions problem that is preventing outbound e-mail? "An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 4.3.0 Problem with queue/pid."

The problem was limited to the NIBBLER community server (it had run out of /var space), and it has been resolved at this time.
