Suggested new hosting provider

Well, they've been cleaning up the spam in here, so somebody is moderating the forums.

On the flipside, this time a post regarding Dreamhost - 4 months later, and my Ahrefs website monitoring account had silently stopped monitoring my Dreamhost site, because they were repeatedly unable to download the domain verification file. Dreamhost's shared hosting seems increasingly flaky, and while the site might be "up", it's hard to tell if you'll actually get served the files or not without it timing it out.

On top of that, Dreamhost recently had a 55% price increase, though they still advertise their old price. You have to hover over a tiny question mark to find the small print that calls it a "3 month introductory price". I don't mind price increases if I'm getting quality service, but things seem to be going backwards at Dreamhost.

That DH site doesn't make any money for me so it's hard to justify moving it, but I'm awfully tempted to move that one from Dreamhost to FutureQuest. My FQ site has been feeling faster and more reliable than Dreamhost lately - so where Dreamhost was my contingency plan, now my contingency plan looks like the more unreliable problem....

Anyway, just sharing in case the info is useful to others.

It's true that this forum could benefit from a bit of a cleanup. Full of spam and most of the links being thrown here add no value at all to the topics. I think that if the forum admins want to get a superb hosting service they could easily look into some reviews first from sites like
28Msec and get some great prices too. Maybe the overall speed of the site could improve as well. I have tried accesing it a few times and it takes a bit too much. See you on the other side if everything goes well everyone. I also had a site moved a month ago and I have gotten more traffic due to faster access from users.

I'm also looking to change my hosting service and this article was a great read.
