Looking forward to announcement on measures to prevent another catastrophic failure
Looking forward to an announcement very soon about new measures that FutureQuest has taken to prevent another catastrophic failure like we had the other week.
Perhaps something to prevent the failure of just one item of equipment taking down everything. I've heard there's something called distributed computing where devices are located in different geographical locations and are not all connected to the same UPS.
Perhaps an alternative method of communications so we don't come to the conclusion the company has gone bankrupt. This was my assumption and I see other people came to the same conclusion. I'd already signed up with another company but fortunately hadn't transferred the domain name.
I'd even be prepared to see an increase in charges to cover this. Anything to prevent another 24 hours of absolute panic as my livelihood and emails all seemed to be going down the toilet.
