Error: 451 4.3.0 Could not virus scan message

When I send email (from Thunderbird), I get the error:

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 451 4.3.0 Could not virus scan message. Please check the message and try again.

If I wait a bit and try a re-send, it goes through.

I think I have solved this problem. However, I was never able to duplicate it myself so I can't really test the fix. Please report back if you see that this has gone away or is still happening.

I ran a few test emails and did not have the issue.
Time will tell

seems to be gone, my emails are doing ok again and coming through quickly, as expected. Thanks.

Hmm. I thought this had been fixed, I hadn't seen it for a couple of weeks - but I just ran into it again a couple of minutes ago. (Waiting a minute before sending again seemed to work.)

I tend to send plaintext / non-HTML emails via Postbox Windows (a Thunderbird-based client), not sure if that makes any difference.
