First, let us say Thank You for allowing us to provide for your hosting needs. Our clients are the most important aspect of FutureQuest and we sincerely appreciate each and everyone of you.
As we do each year in our Holiday Message we like to recap what we have been doing during the last year.
Our FutureQuest Team has been busy during 2019 as we have been working on several fronts, improvements as well as enhancements.
Most recently we finally rolled out PHP 7, which took far longer to implement then we ever imagined, and the most resources... However the actual roll out went far smoother then the transition from PHP 3 to PHP 4 many many years ago, oyyyy....
DNS Management received an important addition with the ability to fully manage all aspects of your domain's DNS, by the addition of managing the "A" record for the naked domain.
Email services also received an enhancement with the ability to create email account backups for download.
In
2020 our most pressing, and first on the list, goal will be a MySQL Version Upgrade which we are targeting for completion during the 1st Quarter.
We will also be working on Apache 2.4, which is proving to be a far larger challenge then originally thought...
During the year we are always open to suggestions for service enhancements/improvements and most years we end up implementing something new or improved that was not even on our radar in December the year before, so you never know what may be around the corner
So in closing we, the FutureQuest Team, want to not only Wish everyone a very Merry Holiday Season but a Very Happy New Year and we look forward to providing for your hosting needs for another year.
