PHP Version for Wordpress

Trying to install WordPress on a FutureQuest site and am receiving this message when I load the page:

"Your server is running PHP version 5.3.29 but WordPress 5.2.2 requires at least 5.6.20."

Do I have the ability to change PHP versions, and/or is there some other workaround for this issue?

UPDATE: I see a PHP version change capability under Server Info. Let me see if that fixes the problem.

You can upgrade to PHP version 5.6.29 from the Server Info section of your CNC, just scroll down to 'Version Information' and click the blue 'Change PHP version' button.

Thanks for responding. I found the button right after I posted my original message.

Re: PHP Version for Wordpress

Now, WordPress wants me to upgrade to PHP 7.3 This does not appear as an option in the CNC area.

What is the word from FutureQuest on this recommendation from WordPress?

Re: PHP Version for Wordpress

I am also wondering about the PHP for WordPress as there is talk of moving the minimum requirement of WordPress to PHP 7.3 toward the end the the year. Mentioned both here https://wordpress.org/news/2019/04/m...ersion-update/ and here https://make.wordpress.org/core/2018...m-php-version/. Will FutureQuest be updating their PHP before the PHP 7.3 requirement for WordPress comes into effect?
