SSL and https

I have a domain and one IRM. I'd like to set up SSL on the IRM for https:

I've searched the forums and the Knowledgebase. I think I understand LetsEncrypt and the CNC setup.

What I care about is being sure that the SSL certificate is properly registered so there are no pop-ups with warnings for users and the certificate works for both the main domain and the www. variant.

Can I get some confidence before running down a rabbit hole?

Re: SSL and https

If you haven't already done it setup a QuestAdmin.net account at https://questadmin.net/ Ordering from there is easier since it already knows who you are and what services you have while the regular order forms are setup to handle brand new accounts.

As long as we do all the hosting for the domains on the account and we generate the certificate (Let's Encrypt) the rest is automatic and will just work. The only potential issue I see with your account is that you actually have 3 IRMs setup in your account but 2 are domains that are no longer registered at all. It would be a good idea to delete those from your account first. They will be shown in QuestAdmin when you login.

Re: SSL and https

Thank you Kevin. That is the reassurance I needed.

I remember you well. I am set up in QuestAdmin and have been from the beginning. You haven't changed your profile image!

I will clean up the expired domains. Thank you for the reminder.

Re: SSL and https

Kevin, et al,

Getting a LetsEncrypt certificate could not have been easier. Thank you.

To get people who type in a URL without (or with) www. and without https:// to be served https://AuspiciousWorks.com . Is the answer a redirect in .htaccess?

Re: SSL and https

That is correct. You can see what you would need to add to the htaccess file here:
