where is .appdata? Need to delete a file

Hi...

Installatron's support is recommending that I delete a certain file in ~/.appdata/current in order to get rid of a failed install that won't uninstall all the way but I'm having trouble finding that directory.... is it hidden? Is there a way for me to unhide it?
