We have an early (way early) Christmas Gift for FutureQuest Account Holders
One request that FutureQuest has occasionally received is for the ability to manage email accounts per domain. This would apply to those hosting packages that have a Main Domain and IRs (both IROs and IRMs)
We have just updated the CNC Email Manager to allow for the creation of domain specific email addresses.
When you go to Add a New Email Address, either POP/IMAP or an Alias you will have the option to set the username for "Any Domain" which would allow that username to work for ALL domains under that package. This is the same as how all existing mailboxes work.
However now you will have an additional option, where you can select a specific domain for that username and that email username would be unique to that domain.
You can create the same username for multiple domains, if you wish, or just one. Each separate
username@SpecificDomain.com will have it's own password and Inbox.
ie... You can create
sales@maindomain.com as well as
sales@IROdomain.com.
You cannot create the same username for both "Any Domain" and a specific domain.
