Greetings all,
After having just signed up for my eighteenth consecutive year with FQ, I thought i'd drop in say hello. It's been a while, for various reasons, namely health (Quadraplegic since 1985) that has kept me away from doing anything constructive with dmcity.
One thing that has remained constant is my email delivery, which i've heavily relied on. I think the only time I had a 'no-connect' error was when I forgot to renew my domain name reg...eek. For one short moment I thought I had lost dmcity.com; thankfully nobody had grabbed it.
I would like to delve into PHP / MySQL again and set up pilot reporting for a small (virtual) flying club. I can remember some of the very basics but producing a string like ../flights/pilothistory.php?id=22 is still beyond me.
Anyone recommend a good PHP building site or who would offer a few pointers? My old links are dodo.
Who is still around I wonder; looks like Terra is still running the show. Deb still offering Support; forgive me if this is inappropriate for any reason. I see Bruce is still lurking
I do hope you're managing to keep the FQ head above the water. There is a great deal of online competition offering instant build websites, some of them are quite good. The lack of postings on the forums is slightly worrying.
