[FQuest Notice] Mail services downtime

The mail services load balancer proxy needs to be rebooted to install a new kernel to resolve some operational issues with hung connections. As this load balancer is now the proxy for all email services (POP, IMAP, and authentication), this affects all users.

During the reboot, all access to email will be unavailable. All incoming email will be deferred and will be delivered once the proxy is operational.

We ended up needing to do multiple reboots to resolve a configuration issue, but the system is up and running again. Due to a temporary redirect while the reboots were happening, the down time should not have obviously affected any services.

I am not getting any email right now, and I have another user with same issue. IMAP Server issued an unknown greeting

I should say I got mail up until about 10am but not can't connect

We are experiencing an IMAP connection issue which is being looked at by the mail technician at this time.
