Back to eat humble pie ... again ..

To cut a long story short I emailed FQ today about millisecond delays. As always I received comprehensive replies from Terra. It looks like SQLite caching is the minor bottle neck and after running tests it was evident it was not FQ network. I haven't pinned down the exact issue yet but I will, just a case of stripping code out until the issue goes.

Anyway, once again my sincere thanks for the time taken to reply and offer info. I actually feel bad because this looks to be an issue unrelated to FQ and even if it is SQLite that still doesn't mean it's FQ.

Due to the nature of business and how critical it is not to lose orders I'm the first to jump, scream and throw a fit when something does happen on FQ side. I wish I could contain myself and not fire off to service@ , I probably need more xanax lol.

Anyway, just wanted to admit I did think this issue was FQ, whether it turns out to be a mix of several issues the fact is I've just gobbled up at least 30 mins of valuable 'Terra time' and for what we pay we should expect as much support as you get from the likes of Rackspace, which is zero.

So thank you, your time is very much valued and appreciated despite how it often looks eg .... whining, selfish, nightmare coder who expects way too much for way too little.

I would also like to publicly apologise to Bob for my last tweet some time ago during downtime. I apologise for my curt tone when you are always professional and polite 100% of the time.

No need for any apologies, but thanks

I completely understand the frustrations when an issue arises. Trust me I have gotten short with support folks at times myself (don't even talk to me about auto insurance...)

Thank you Bob. There is no excuse for rudeness especially to someone like yourself who does not warrant it. Whilst this isn't an excuse, there is just so much pressure to achieve the impossible and keep things growing. Too many all nighters, too much caffeine, not enough down time but it's the same for everyone these days I think. Despite that sounding like an excuse, there is none. Thank you for your ever patience, prompt and helpful service though. It's not often you get a company which is genuinely 24/7 support.

This is 2017 folks. Keeping the thread alive.

Times change and we move along,

For now I am stuck here and getting along just fine.

Using a CDN which may not be entirely necessary but it sure adds to the shine and glitz.

Happy Spring Break from Sunny Belize!
