installation of dotClear fails repeatedly

Greetings.

Facing frustration with the last time I tried the Installatron thing months/year(s) ago, I mustered the courage to try, again.

Alas, multiple attempts to get dotClear installed via Installatron have each met with failure.

At the and of the installation process, I get this message (Table info differs each time I perform a wipe-and-re-install):

"Installing: Error: A database query has failed. Is the entered database information correct? Does the account have available disk space? type = mysql host = mysql.andyrew.info database = xandyrew-dotclear username = xandyrew password = **HIDDEN** Technical information: method = query errstr = UPDATE `ev0l_setting` SET `setting_value`='en' WHERE `blog_id`='default' AND `setting_id`='lang' MYSQL ERROR 1146: Table 'xandyrew-dotclear.ev0l_setting' doesn't exist"

Any clues as to what I might do next?

Doesn't look like it is you, I got a similar error when I just tried installing DotClear as well.

We will bring this to the attention of the technician who handles Installatron and see if he can see anything, or if we will need to try and contact the Installatron folks regarding this.

The issue with DotClear is the default installation uses MySQL and DotClear requires MySQL with InnoDB which is not available on the Community Servers.

As a result we have removed DotClear from the available apps in the App Manager.

You may still be able to install DotClear manually as it has a provision for using PostgreSQL. You would need to first contact the Service Desk requesting a PostgreSQL database be enabled for your account.

From the Selection, dC seemed kinda cool.
