Starting over

Hello,
I've published a few pages of my site through dreamweaver but started over because it wouldn't let me publish further changes on it. Well, I hadn't gotten very far, so I've decided to start over by deleting my files from dreamweaver. Now my new index won't publish. Am I supposed to delete the old files from my server before continuing? and if so, how do I do that?

Re: Starting over

Hello Hedy,

Dreamweaver should allow you to overwrite your site files, and according to your CNC File Manager section your index.html file is showing a last modified date of today, 09-16-2015, suggesting that the updates/changes you made were in fact published successfully.

Please verify that you have refreshed your browser by holding SHIFT+reload, or CTRL+F5 (or in some cases SHIFT+CTRL+reload or SHIFT+CTRL+R, it varies depending on the browser being used). Sometimes your browser or ISP will cache the result from a previous visit and you need to force a browser reload/refresh to view updates you make to your web pages:

If you continue experiencing issues please send an email to Service@FutureQuest.net detailing 1) the publishing settings you currently have set in Dreamweaver, and 2) what particular error message you are receiving in Dreamweaver (if any).

-Mike
