FutureQuest is happy to announce an enhancement for SpamAssassin filtering.
The SpamAssassin "auto-learned data", also known as Bayesian learning or
simply "bayes", is a system wide adaptive learning system is now an available
SpamAssassin option from your CNC Email Manager.
All messages received at FutureQuest that are passed thru SpamAssassin are the
base for auto-learning, as well as messages that are received from known blacklisted IP addresses.
When you have SpamAssassin "Use auto-learned data" enabled a different scoring
method is used to take into account additional scores from bayes that can be added.
The SpamAssassin bayesian classifier analyzes the message to compute
a probability that the contents are spam, based on previously learned
messages.
A score is chosen based on that calculated probability value and
added to the final score.
The different scoring values, depending on what selections you have
made in SpamAssassin can be seen in the
SpamAssassin Test
and Scoring Chart under the bayes column.
*Note: If "auto-learn" is enabled Clients who delete emails via the SpamAssassin
filter may wish to temporarily change their settings to redirect or tag only.
FutureQuest is unable to recover any email that is deleted or bounced as a result of email filters.
