Credit card surchage fees?

Will be interesting to see how this impacts all of us as buyers and also merchants:

Starting on Sunday, Jan. 27, retailers will be allowed to tack a surcharge of up to 4% onto your tab if you want to pay with a credit card.

Personally I would walk out of any store that did this.

I use a credit card for almost all purchases and I always pay the balance in full so there is no interest involved.

I am not going to regularly carry around enough cash to go grocery shopping nor will I shop somewhere that encourages old people to write checks
