FTP problems

Hi - I'm setting up my FTP program for a connection to my FQ server. In the knowledgebase, FQ says my server name should be ftp.mydomain.tld I guess "tld" in my case is "org" is that right? I have the "Passive Mode" checked.

The Port is 21 and the proxy is "none"

My FTP program is saying:
There was a problem connecting to your host or proxy. Please check your server settings and try again.

Any ideas on what my problem is?

We would need specific details like your actual domain name which would probably be better off sent to the service desk to do much debugging on this.

However, if your FTP client also supports SFTP (on port 22) give that a try as it is superior to FTP in every way (especially security).

OK, while writing up your ticket the other thing we would need is your IP address. If you can send both of those things it will help a lot.
