Re: Compressing files broke computer

Great, I Googled for "display port monitors cost" and the first result, from this year, says "displayport monitors cost tons of money." Now to see how much is tons. I'm glad I didn't order yet.

Re: Compressing files broke computer

I could get the next more expensive model, still under $500, and get more mainstream monitor support, but I decided VGA may be OK, or else I could get a DisplayPort-to-something adapter (I saw one for $15). Then the complications began, and I left this feedback:

Quote:
I was trying to order an M77 small form factor desktop but the screen where you could customize and order never loads on this browser (I'm at the library because my computer broke). Even this form disappeared after this page loaded, until I figured out I could keep pressing tab until all the fields reappear.
There's another semi-local library that I think has Firefox (I'm on IE 7 here). If that doesn't work, I don't think I'll try Kinkos or call in the order. I'll look for something else.

And if I order through the lenovo website I could use their 10% off coupon.

Unfortunately, we have sold out of this model. We show 1 unit in stock
however we were unable to locate the unit anywhere. This model has been
discontinued by Lenovo and we will not be getting any more in. Let me
know if you would like a refund or anyy other models.
See what I mean about a conspiracy? Did I mention the conspiracy? Well, there is one.

I hate it when that happens after I've made up my mind and finally pulled the trigger.

Maybe it's really a good sign though and something better is waiting for you (that's what I like to tell myself and it does usually work out for the best).

Maybe. I ordered the Acer Aspire PT.SHFP2.005. It doesn't have XP mode so I'm not sure I could restore by backed up files the easy way, but I'll figure something out.
