Czech Peasant and Emigration Musuem

Our new website is finally up and running. It was laying around already long time, but I just had to finish it in time for our 10th anniversary.

I borrowed the birthday smileys from this forum, thanks'

Have a look at the Czech Peasant and Emigration Museum. We are also making a new exhibition on the presence of the US Army Engineers in Europe during and after the cold war.

A visit to our donation page would be greatly appreciated as well, off course

The one thing that irks me, I did not come around to make the user-friendly URLS yet. Needs some more time because the site is running as an IRM here on FQ. Oh well, can't have it all.

Re: Czech Peasant and Emigration Musuem

Thanks Melissa,

Actually, I got some remarks on being too soft and polite when asking for donations, no sense of urgency there. In addition, the more I looked at it, the more I thought that the colors were a bit too depressive for an anniversary.

So I changed the colors and the front page.

For comparison, our Friends of the Rozmberk Society website Czech Friends still has the same old colors

I like the old colors better, but the left and right sides should be a different color for better contrast with the top.
