return url with paypal

Hi I just made a shopping cart that works with paypall, sends the order to the site to be paid, does anyone know how to set the return url if the payment goes through ok and if it doesn't go through?
Wanted to send the variable to paypal that if the payment goes through to have a return url to update the database that the order has been paid and on other other hand to tell the customer to try again if it doesnt'

There is a PAYPAL paying module within zencart including oder-update. Maybe you can find your answer there?

Take a look at PayPal IPN solutions. That's what's responsible for notifying your site when a payment is processed.
