Pardon my ignorance

So used to just uploading html files and swf files to my comcast ftp site to get my "home" page up and running. I am at a loss as to how to proceed.

How to get my main "home" page at my domain at futurequest to simply
come up and just play the "swf" file itself.

Domains and html composition ellude me apparently.

What used to be easy, now with this domain I've created here, seems difficult or I'm just not thinking this through.

Any help in advance for probably the biggest newbie to all this here is grately appreciated in advance.

kind regards

Re: Pardon my ignorance

I am not sure about comcast ftp - but more than likely when you ftp'd it went directly to the root directory.

In the case of FutureQuest, when you ftp - you end up in the x(user) directory, in that directory is a folder named www which is the public folder - this is where you want to put your files, and should work the same as comcast, as long as your main html file is named index.html

You can also upload files using the File Manager in CNC - you just need to upload to the www folder.

Hope this helps!

John
