Transfer domain out of my account, but leave on FQ

Hi -
I have two domains I no longer wish to manage, but the owner would like to stay on FQ. What is the correct procedure for handling that? I am assuming he needs to establish himself with FQ first.

Re: Transfer domain out of my account, but leave on FQ

To transfer ownership of a package to a new Account will require the following:

1) You will need to visit the following form and fill it out completely.
http://www.FutureQuest.net/Order/Chown/

2) You will then receive an email at your primary email address that contains an URL that you will need to visit and confirm the information submitted as well as the transfer of the account.

3) Upon completion of confirming the transfer an email will be sent to the New Account holder that will also require them to visit an URL which will allow them to view/modify their contact information and confirm acceptance of the FutureQuest Terms Of Service.

Once this is completed, it will allow us to simply create a new account for the new owner and move the domain(s) under that package without any disruption in the delivery of the web site itself. The process will be completed within 24 hours of our receiving the final confirmation.

Once the Account Transfer is completed the New Account holder will receive an updated Activation Letter with all access information they will require.

Note that a new billing period will start with the new account activation. The current owner has the option of transferring any credit balance remaining from the closed package to the new owner or retaining it on their account.

This has the most impact for those that are on an annual paid package as they will have a new billing year start the day the new account is activated and will have to pay either for an entire year or for the balance for that new year after any credits if the old owner should transfer them.
